Dental Implants

A dental implant is the next best thing to replacing a missing tooth. Nothing replaces your natural teeth, but dental implants can come close.  Implants have been used for many years. They are man-made "anchors"  and are made of titanium and other materials that are compatible with the human body. The single tooth implant is placed surgically  in the upper or lower jaw, where it replaces your missing tooth. An implant looks and acts like a natural tooth. It fits securely even when you chew and speak.  A single tooth implant does not involve treatment to your other teeth.

As our life span increases, a permanent dental replacement like dental implants are increasingly important as we get older.  While dentures and removable bridges are usually loose and unstable, dental implants provide you with dental replacements that are both natural looking and very functional.  Implants look much better, and feel better, than traditional removable bridges, and offer the same force for biting as bridges that are fixed in place.  Implants will last your lifetime.
